Community Clean-Up Day

September 26, 2020, 8 am – 2 pm


It’s time to clean the closets, attic, garages, basements, and the yard and to lend a hand in picking up trash around town.  On Saturday, September 26, 2020, the community is invited to dispose of unwanted items.  It’s the only day of the year Greenfield Township residents can bring unwanted items to the Township garage at 477 Ski Gap Road, Claysburg PA.  Clean up day is for Greenfield Township residents only with a two load maximum.

What to bring:

  • Bulky waste items not accepted by the trash hauler
  • Furniture
  • Bedding
  • Toys
  • Doors
  • Windows
  • Porcelain
  • Scrap metal
  • Tires (please see the cost below.)

What NOT to bring:

  • Household garbage
  • Hazardous waste
  • Large construction pieces
  • Concrete blocks
  • Paint
  • Yard waste
  • Burn barrels or drums
  • Skids
  • Plastic barrels
Greenfield Township reserves the right to refuse any or all trash brought to the Cleanup Day event.  It is at the discretion of the Township staff what are permitted items. 

Tires

Off the rim, each:

$3 – car, light truck & motorcycle

$12 – truck

$22 – super singles

$27 – off-road tires

On the rim, each:

$5 – car, light truck & motorcycle

Tires that are not clean & dry, free from dirt, stone or other debris may be refused. An additional $1 per tire will be charged if debris is NOT removed.
